Where you will find two guys churning it out every weekday around the lunch hours in New York. Who are they? Why they are the King of Falafel and Shawarma! One of many food carts in NYC and one I just had to go visit after reading reviews about it online. After one halal food cart caught our eye years ago when late at night the line went waaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyy up the block after midnight with folks waiting to get their after the club snack on…I was hooked. So upon discovering this little gem online – I had to seek it out! I mean after all…they hand out free falafel samples while you wait in line for your food!
Plus, after having seen the movie The Avengers (and staying to the bitter end to catch the extra bits of the movie. If you didn’t see the movie or stay to the end then you won’t get this in joke) I had to try shawarma. We did and we liked it. But I really loved the falafel.
I think I know who that disembodied arm waiting for the everything platter belongs to

This series makes me realize how long I’ve been away from NYC and how much I miss it. I should organize a trip.
