He must’ve been on his lunch break. Empire State Building from the top of the Rock taken September 2012. Which version do you prefer – color or monochrome?

I vote monochrome. It gives your photo a dated feel, even though a few of those buildings are definitely not dated.

I was thinking the same thing. I mean after all, King Kong (the original) was done in monochrome.

To look through King Kong perspective, yes I agree with the others. The monochrome is better than the color one.

I’ve said the monochrome look gives it a bit of an RKO pictures look. (Let’s see who gets that reference)
