Just as I was trying to pull away from my desk and actually get some work done I saw some snow shots here on WordPress that just looked stunning in monochrome so………….I had to go there! Now tell me, which do you prefer? Color or monochrome? (see last post for the color version) I’m almost looking forward to more snow coming in to try to capture more images. Did I really just say that??????

I agree with Bulldog, B&W is better for snow shots.

And wouldn’t you know the snow today is not big fluffy flakes but more like sleet. Thanks, Chris!

This one – very rustic and classic looking.

B&W for snow, all the way! Oh, and congratulations, girl! I just caught up on your blogs and noticed you had hung out your shingle. Hopped over to your website and will definitely keep it in mind when I’m thinking about future projects or recommendations. Wishing you all the best!
P.S. Also noticed the new picture avatar (is that redundant?). So cute.

Thank you…I appreciate any recommendations you send my way! I decided to change the avatar for the fun of it. Still sans my glasses and the hair is longer now. Time for a cut!

The B&W conveys the cold better, IMHP of course.

This encourages me to do more B&W images…at least of the snow, maybe more.

They’re both wonderful, but there’s something very pretty about snow in b&w!
