I never really thought about how they sample drinking water in a city like NYC. I wonder what the difference is between sampling it there and, say, from a sink in the Mayor’s office?

I stood there wondering if someone actually came up to this, unlocked it and then somehow took a sip of water in their little test Dixie Cup. But why here on a busy street we may never know!

Awesome! I was right when I imagined a tap/spigot in those things to sample from. Thanks, John.
