Well everyone, it is the night (actually dawn right now) before Christmas and I have got a few things I need to get done still in order to be ready for tomorrow. But first I would like to say hello and thank you to all of you that have read my ramblings and liked, followed, and commented. I’ve only been at this blogging thing now for not even half a year but in that time I have “met” so many of you and found such amazing people who have become friends. I’ve come into your world and you into mine. Through this medium I have traveled all over and you have learned that at times I have a very interesting sense of humor.
I’ve gotten some fantastic recipes from some of you and learned photography techniques from others. You have inspired and encouraged me and allowed me to slowly let out some things that have been deeply compressed inside. Thanks for the cheap therapy sessions 🙂 Hopefully in turn I have shown you a thing or two that made your day or gave you some ideas. I know from some of your comments that I have made you smile and brought back some memories of your own. Some experiences are common to all of us no matter who we are or where we live – and that is nice to know.
You know that I am slowly stepping out into the world of trying to get my photography out there more. Currently there is my Redbubble site and another will be debuting very soon. It brings out a side of me that has always loved creating things. I may be pestering some of you soon about how and where to get my work out on other sites that I’ve heard about but haven’t a clue as to the where’s and hows. Thank you in advance for letting me bend your ears and thank you all for being your wonderfully unique you’s! DH is off work until the beginning of next year so I may or may not be posting much – unless I need to write to prevent strangling him from being around so much. I kid! I kid!
There were so many other ornaments I wanted to feature but time has run out on me; maybe next year. So here is the last one of the season. This ornament is perfect for this message. When son was a little guy and in pre-school, I experienced the first of many school fundraisers. With little guy in tow I did the motherly thing and pestered the heck out of the neighborhood (friends, relatives, and co-workers were victimized as well) asking “Would you like to buy an ornament to help raise funds for Land of Oz pre-school?” Having the little guy holding the order form usually sucked them in. When girl child went to same school I did it again but unfortunately the ornaments weren’t as cute. Didn’t matter, I used the same selling technique and both children won their respective prizes for selling stuff. The ornaments were called little chimers as they are actually little bells.
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays from my computer to yours. Let’s hear it for 2012!
Don’t you love Christmas? It is so beautiful. Love your photo.

How cute is that! What a great little keepsake ornament! This blogging thing is something, isn’t it? Never would have guessed it could be so rewarding. Here’s wishing you and yours a wonderful Christmas!
Look forward to hearing what your Christmas dinner consisted of! I look at this ornament and my son is that little guy holding my hand again. Have a wonderful Christmas and guess what? There is a box under the tree that says Garrett’s on it – WOOT!!!!

If the sponge works – I will take pictures. If it doesn’t work I will just say I decided to make another desert 🙂 Have a great Christmas on the farmy. t

Great shot! and funny that you had an Oz preschool; one of mine went to a Land of Oz preschool too!
Really? I wonder if they are a chain or just a typical preschool name 😉
