Hooray! Hooray! It’s Spring today

Yes indeedy do! The calendar says that today is the start of Spring here.  The daffodils are daffing, the trees are budding, the grass is greening, and the crocus are……..hehehe (supply your own word).  I drove past a farm and saw new baby moo moo’s and I’ve seen bugs buzzing about already.  Conversely I’ve also been sneezing from things blooming and possibly from mold from all of the storms we have been having as of late.  Just the other day we had a doozy where the tornado alarms went off like mad.  Spring showers are OK – Spring tornadoes are not!   It’s been warm enough to go about in short sleeves and even shorts.  Now as much as I like warm weather apparel, it makes me a tad leery because it is far too early for us to be in the upper 70’s low 80’s.

On a less than ebullient note, today is also the first day of me returning to physical therapy.  An injury last year that left me with damage that really impaired some of my mobility has returned – deep sad sigh.  So it’s back to the Chateau de Sade to get fixed up again.  This is really going to put a crimp in things until I’m on the mend again but do what is necessary I must.

I love spring anywhere, but if I could choose I would always greet it in a garden.  ~Ruth Stout

Such beautiful pics with your post today! (What are those crocus doing?) Ugh! PT!!! I’m all too familiar with it and hope that you’ll only need a couple visits to get you back in tip-top shape — and for good this time! 🙂

  6. That’s spring all right, my sweet! Joy and pain commingled. I think it’s important to note that you should *not* be doing the jump rope and skipping stuff along with me just yet!! Please heal quickly and fully. All best in the physiotherapy. Pretty blossoms now blooming ought at least to make the journey more tolerable!

    • Thank you, Kathryn, my dear! Right now I’m doing well to be able to just move about let alone any fancy schmancy foot work. But in the interim I will try to brush up on my jump rope rhymes to be set to go when I can.
