Macro Bugging

It’s early in the morning and I’m still bumbling about trying to prioritize what it is I have to do today and if there is any coffee in the house when I look out the back door and notice something on the patio screen.  “What? Is that what I think it is?  “It is! It is! Where’s the camera…let me make sure I’ve got the settings right!” and out I go with hair all over head to take pictures of the first ones of these I’ve seen for the year.  They were very cooperative.  I think it was because it was still cool and they hadn’t warmed up yet.  Amazing how nature paints some of it’s creatures and how crazy some of us photographers are about photography.  I know one is a lady bug but no clue for the other.

And a good morning to you today 🙂

Lady bug, Lady bug, fly away home…..the rest of the rhyme is just too mean.

No idea what type of bug this is but my isn’t it a colorful thing!

i just love looking at photos of bugs, and animals, probably because i am too afraid of getting to close to it to admire it or study its features, but through a photo i can spend as much time with it as i wish

  6. I’ve never seen the second bug before, but it’s quite cool actually. Not sure I would get too close to it myself though, since I’m terrified of bugs. whoa.
