The first time I ever saw you I was totally in awe of your magnificence. I had never seen you before, but then I knew you had to be one of the most beautiful creations of God; I was humbled. As I watch you my mind drifts off to what those in ancient times may have thought when they witnessed you. Surely there must have been amazement peppered with fear in all probability. With just my two eyes I can behold a bit of infinity; the heavens and earth merging and then disappearing together.
To this very day there is nothing else like you to stop my mind from racing and rambling – to make me stop and allow the peaceful tranquility that you project to flow over my spirit. I could gaze at you every day and not become bored because besides your beauty you never appear the same way twice; shifting and changing even from moment to moment. You are missed when the jealous clouds cover you up – you are missed when I am no longer at your shores. I am thankful for every time I get to see you; every time I get to spend with you. You are amazing.
Great photography, twilight fell: The sky turned to a light, dusky purple…

Thank you for stopping by and yes, I did like your sky. So vibrant.
Wow Teri…excellent photo of a beautiful moment in time. I really like how you expressed your feelings. Well done indeed!
I was having one of those “moments” LOL. Show it to S and let me know what she thinks 🙂
A really beautiful post, Teri. Your prose iw well-written and that sunset is incredible. Not living by the West Coast ( of anything!), it would make a good screen saver, something to have on-hand when a calming view is needed.
Having been a born, raised, and still a mid-westerner any time I can get near an ocean I am ecstatic! Oh believe me, the computer has all kinds of ocean views for me to stare at.
