Yet another old brick building that once housed who knows what, but obviously because of the area I was in it had to have had something to do with industry. This boarded up door/window/whatever was quite a ways up the side of the building. I was drawn to the contrasts between the old boards and the brick work…and the creepers growing up, in, and around it. I’m thinking the greenery might be poison ivy as they are in clumps of three. The original photo was converted to black and white and then all of the green leaves and stems were put back in via selective color.

Nicely done, Teri! I’ve never seen poison ivy, so, I cannot tell what that vine is. (You may wish to remember this should I ever invite you to accompany me on a nature hike.)
Seriously? You’ve never seen the dreaded poison ivy? You are sooooooo on your own on the nature hike!
Pretty cool T. I like the selective color and B&W look in this one. sometimes IMO the combination doesn’t look right…but in this case it looks super!!! Well done!
Nearly went cross eyed “painting” back in all of those little leaves. Remind me not to do that again 🙂 Thanks
You’re really getting quite awesome at these photoshop techniques.. I love this one’s contrast!
Thanks! That was what I was aiming for – and actually hit! LOL Sometimes I get it right and sometimes no one ever sees what was created. Never ever ever.
