Happy Halloween – Boo!

As I was sick (still am – dagnabbit) I did not go out this past weekend for the big street party Halloween celebration they have here, sigh, but a week earlier the photography club I belong to – Central Ohio Photo Group – had a party where those who came dressed up posed for the rest of the group as we learned and were practicing spooky editing effects and taking portraits.  It was a blast!  Here are some of the pictures from the party.

Bride of Frankenstein

Bride of Frankenstein with some b&w photo editing

  Wizard  Lady Bludlust

White Bengal Tiger

I released the tiger back into the wilds with editing

Thank you, Bob, for capturing (and editing) this fearsome she vampire. Now where have I seen her before?

Stunning, I love your club, you have so much fun! What luck to find such a good group of people to work with .. c

    • Thanks! They are a fun bunch and I wish you could’ve seen the equipment they brought in for us to try out. I’ve never tried a light meter before but was it ever fun! t

that would have been great, when i started taking photos there was no such thing as a meter in a camera, we all used hand held light meters, i still have mine.. tho seldom use it.. so sad.. c

      • One guy brought in his studio lights and he put the remote onto my camera which triggered the slave flash, etc. And it was my first time working with a hand held meter. The wizard had to squat down because he was taller than the backdrop LOL

  2. I wish I lived in you area; we have no such fun things around here. 😦
Great job on all of them!!

Sounds like fun, Teri. Those costumes are something else!
I hope you’re feeling better real soon.

This is our first year of not participating in any Halloween activities.

  5. That sounds like a fun idea! Glad you were able to participate!
