When we were in Grand Cayman this past summer on our anniversary DH went out to buy me a bouquet of flowers to put in a vase on the condo dining room table. He happened to get sunflowers because he knows I’m very fond of them. It was very sweet – and the bottle of champagne that came with them didn’t hurt either! One day towards the end of our stay I took one of the sunflowers outside to take pictures of it in unusual surroundings for such a flower. One of those shots was this one taken on a little table on the beach with a juvenile coconut that had fallen from a tree the previous night during a rainstorm. The two of them took to each other and became friends. On the day we left, I walked down the beach to stand in the ocean where I tossed them both in bidding them farewell.

Very unusual sight, the two of these together!
They were a happy little rare pair 😉
These are quite the pair but I’m thinking they look thirsty. Got any of that champaign left? Am I projecting?
