Orchid epidendrum – aren’t they just perfect in their red and green for the holidays?
F 11 – 1/50 – ISO 3200 – 100mm macro
And with this post – I have completed NaBloPoMo, a post per day in November!! Popping the cork on the champagne bottle so that we all can partake of some virtual Mimosas.
Yay we made it through. Loving the pictures I wish I could do pictures that crisp and clear.
Ask me if I am going to do this again any time soon? LOL Thanks! We did make it – phew! Macro photography takes patience, being still, and the right lens.
Lovely photo…
Thank you 🙂
Congratulations!! I love Christmas colors!!
This caught my eye and I just had to capture it! So glad that challenge is over with LOL
Totally love this color! I actually bought a poinsettia that had some shades of this hue in it! I am glad you completed your challenge. Way to go!

Oooooooooooo! Wait till you see the poinsettia pictures I took recently then 🙂 Some of them are up for sale on my store on cards, mugs, etc.
Wonderful image. The colors give a 3-D effect. Did you use an editing/enhancing program or filter? If so, which did you use?
No filters. All I did was shoot in raw, adjusted levels and saturation a bit and used a define and sharpen action to finish it.
Thanks for your reply. Your image is very well done. And congratulations on completing your challenge.
Thank you 🙂
Really beautiful choice, Teri, for the holidays. Our local grower had a big sale over Thanksgiving but i didn’t have time to get to it. I’ll still make my annual pilgrimage in January. Best I leave my wallet in the car, though. It really is too tempting.
You can’t leave your wallet in the car! Supposing someone needs to check you ID 😉
Beautiful flower shot!
Congrats on NaBloPoMo. That is a huge thing to undertake!
Thank you! It was getting to me towards the end but I finished! LOL
What a lovely color it is!
This type of orchid is a bit small but makes up for it in its color. Thank you.
Beautiful orchid!!
Thank you! They are little beauties.
