And the weather was nice. I dragged DH out with me to experiment with the holiday lights. He carried my tripod and followed behind as I mucked around with settings to get the shot which I felt was just fine. But in the end it was a great new way to try slow shutter speeds while adorable DH stood on the sidewalk singing Christmas carols for me. Bless his little ole heart!
This is just one shot from that night which I rather like as it shows the holiday lights, lines which were cars driving past, and the cool star-burst pattern of the traffic and street lights.
16 seconds – F 14 – ISO 200 – 50mm – tripod used
Great effect, Teri. No, not the photo — though it is a very good one — I mean your DH singing you Christmas carols. 🙂
Sometimes he just so rises to the occasion..and his baritone doesn’t hurt either.
Beautiful and wonderful hubby!
Yeah! I think I’ll keep him 😉

Have not done any photography yet; just got around to decorating the new digs but I want to share some moments of Christmas past until Click and I get back to work 😉
