This image was processed with just a minimal amount of levels adjustment followed by an action for PSE which gave it this warm hazy effect. A dark teal filter was then applied at 15% opacity along with some slight vignetting. Next I used a soft round black brush on a layer mask to paint back in some of the bubbles in the vase along with the pattern on the teacup. So tell me, how do you take your tea?

Very nice. Thanks for explaining some of the technique you used.
You’re welcome. Even with what I’ve done here there were even more “tweaks” I could’ve done which shows you the flexibility in some actions.
Oh wow, that’s a lot of work but a beautiful picture.
It really wasn’t a lot of work as the actions do most of the hard stuff. It was really a matter of what I wanted where and how much or how little I wanted done. Thank you.
Nice effect. It’s the light, only most looks Spring-like.
Sigh…….that elusive creature, Spring. That was a bit of the look I was going for or at least a warm sunny day.
This picture is stunningly beautiful. Stunningly!
Awwwwwwwwwwwwwww thank you 🙂
Very pretty indeed. It makes me feel more ladylike just looking at it!
Pinkie up and everything, huh? 🙂
I love this photo – its so beautiful and peaceful looking!
Thank you. I was going for a calm moment with the image.
