A Mercedes Benz SLS Gullwing AMG. Don’t ask me what any of that means; I can’t tell you but that is what was on it’s display sign at the auto show. Custom wheels and paint work and hand built by AMG in Sindelfingen, Germany. This was just one of the many exotic cars at the show cordoned or roped off from the masses – oh darn! This pod of cars didn’t have an armed guard standing by them like some of the others. I wonder what this baby went for because some of them as you will see later were just astronomically valued.

….it’s fantastic 🙂
It is indeed! Thanks for commenting.
I won’t it. Nice photo. As Anne Murray said, “Spread your tiny wings and fly away”. And I bet it can.
It’s too cool to fly…I bet it gets flown!
I bet you’re right. 😉
My German is pretty rusty but, I believe, roughly translated the car is called the “Bertrille” in English.
Really??????
Yes, because “The Flying Nun” was so popular in Germany .. up until “Knight Rider” debuted, of course. 😉
I want one…
I will tell the owner 😉
Every time I see a car with ‘alternative opening’ doors I just see a new way to bash my head, knees and elbows. So graceful, I know. 🙂
I see your point. I suppose you’d have to crouch or bend carefully to get out of this vehicle. Then again, I did bash my head on the frame of an old mustang once trying to be cool….major fail!
Very cool indeed!!! Not your typical grocery getter car for sure!!!
I think this car only goes out for food – LOL
Im not the biggest Mercedes fan, but this looks fantastic!
I love the unusual cars. Thanks.
