“Say hello to Miss T” the mom said to my six year old subject after she popped out from the back seat of her parents car. Shyly she walked up to me, gave me a little smile and then as if she knew it would make my day – gave me a hug. I had been a bit blue about something but after that smile and hug? That inner dark cloud went away and the sun came back out.
She was such a joy to work with as were her parents and as the shoot continued and she loosened up – we had a ball! I asked her how did she think models posed and who was her favorite model (Mommy she said. Awwwwww). I told her that if she wasn’t careful skipping downhill she might fall and roll off the path and the squirrels would carry her off to live with them in their hollow tree. Silly photographer lady!
After the shoot was done, they headed off for ice cream (little angels need ice cream you know) and I drove home feeling so much better. Thank you 🙂
