I missed taking some shots of the bagpiper doing his thing – darn – and this carver (whittler?) wore a very cool hat while putting some finishing touches on one of the many hand carved walking sticks he had for sale. The choral group was lovely, the violin player (or was he a fiddler) was amazing, and they tried to get me to square dance. Did not happen! Wasn’t going to either!

Looks great… why wont you dance.??
Oh I will dance at a drop of a hat…just don’t try to get me to do it in public with a bunch of strangers impromptu.
That is like Lisa’s dream gig! Me, not so much! ;)-Ashley
Which part? The dancing or music playing? 🙂
I’m with you, Teri. I’ll tap my toes and maybe even sway a bit but I’m not going near the dance floor, especially for something as complicated as a square dance.
Last time I square danced was when I was in elementary school and it was a requirement in PE.
There have only been a few times when I hit the dance floor…and I do remember square dancing in gym class in 5th and 6th grade. I suppose that was to develop boy girl social skills at a young age LOL
I think it was meant to torture us at that age 🙂
