Can a zombie be adorable? Anyway, this event brought out the little zombies and their families with them ranging in size from those who ate pureed brains, to little ones on leashes and in strollers, and of course – those who shambled along with their parents. The family that’s undead stays…undead?
(Zombie Walk Columbus)
I like the photos… but not sure if I like the idea of people dressing up like this…
Why is that? There have been different monster genres that have appealed to people and zombies are enjoying their time in the spotlight. Wonder what will be the next craze.
I agree with Rob…..nice photos on your part, but I don’t like the whole zombie craze.
Please tell me why you dislike the craze? Like to hear opinions.
I think it has to do with the whole death thing…..blood and gore. Five years ago I would have felt totally different.
Well yeah, there is the blood and gore bits and I can see that being a turn off. I look at it now in the way some stories portray it…a mutant virus. Gets me to thinking about what if in that instance.
oh my…I feel for the baby in the stroller!
That little cutie was confused about being smeared but it must’ve been tasty because she kept licking her face.
Now that looks like a fun time for everyone! I’m not as keen on zombies as many but I can tell a good time when I see one. Great shots, Teri, and thanks for sharing. 🙂
I have no idea why zombies are so popular but what the hey! It was a great time with lots of smiling and laughing “creatures” (but the zombie clowns? YEESH!) and a whole lot of canned goods collected for the food bank.
Eeeeeewwwwwww…great photos of some truly creepy people. I also wonder why the zombie thing is so popular. Good to see folks helping out others…even in a zombie venue.
What was a hoot was seeing them in “character” and scary and the next laughing and texting on their phones. There wasn’t a single child in the mix who cried. But I did back away fast from the zombie clowns – shudder.
Zombies texting…way too funny! But then again that would help as a reminder they are not real!
And zombies lighting up cigarettes and kissing each other and pushing their babies in strollers and laughing and being able to speak without moaning not one time… 🙂
I think it’s hilarious. If you can’t laugh at death and make it seem outrageously silly, you’re probably going to have a heck of a time dealing with the reality of it. These people are much less creepy to me than clowns and lots of cutesy dolls and things. If that says I’m dangerously weird, well, it’s because I am. Might as well own up to it, eh! 😀
You? Weird? Nahhhhh! But I must warn you that there were zombie clowns and that creeped the (bleep) out of me! The rest were just fun; some even artistic in the way they transformed themselves. Will be posting more of them on Wednesday.
You’re the only one I know who participates in this and I live it through you and you alone. Neat though. Interesting stuff!
It was for a good cause and fun to see the “interesting” people.
Great photos, looks so gory!
Well some of them did but the little ones were just too cute!
Have you read World War Z? I guess it’s now a movie, as well!
Read the book and have seen the movie! 🙂
