How often these homeowners reside in their beautiful homes I do not know. Year round? Seasonal? Who knows! Whatever their time it looks like it’s very nice. We were just wandering around trying to make our way back to our hotel when we took a detour from Duval, went along Mallory Square and the cruise ship dock, and somehow ended up on this street. No idea where we were but I’m sure if I had a map I’d figure it out. Some of the homes were decorated for Christmas while others were just their lovely tropical selves.
Beautiful colors, palm trees, flowers, the shutters on the windows…I could happily retire here to live in a home like one of these. Then again, maybe just for fall and winter; I’ve heard it can get very hot and humid in the summer. So I’ll take half the year in Key West and the other half up north. Deal 🙂
(P.S. I would still like to ask all of you for help. The challenge/bet that DH and I have is still going on and I am just 3 away from getting my prize. I have to get that magic number before the end of 2013. We’ve agreed on what the prize is but I’m not going to reveal it until I hit my goal. If you are following – thank you so much – but if you aren’t could you follow or pass this along to someone who might? Help me win, please! Thank you. )
Wish I owned one of those….
I want one with an upper balcony.
Reading this lovely post and looking at the photos puts a smile on my face and takes me back to being there myself. Thanks for the moment of memories 🙂
You are most welcome. It was my first (but not last) time visiting Key West.
Those look amazing, and I wish I could just open one of the gates and go rock on the balcony! :)-Ashley
That is my retirement dream…yep yep yep!
I would say this is island living at its best!
I wanna go back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh to live on an island year round #bucketlist Good luck with the number – I hope you win!
I think I shall make it! Thanks
There certainly are some beautiful homes on that island. Thanks for giving us a peek at some of them, Teri.
I wonder if any of them can be “shared”? LOL
