Going to or coming from a party or just getting ready to do his street act, who knew? After we arrived and dropped our stuff off at the hotel we took off – or should I say I dragged DH off – to find the double decker tour bus. My logic was to ride this bus to get a good overview of the area we were in, decide what was good to see or not, and then make note of what to go back to later. It was a nice, albeit chilly way (the top of that bus was breezy and I was cold!) to take a tour; off and on privileges for 24 hours, a nice deal I say.
It was during our ride that I took my first photos in London and one of them just happened to be this clown. Wasn’t expecting to see this at all! When the bus ride became too chilly for me we got off and returned to the hotel where against DH’s advice I keeled over and fell asleep. But I popped back up a bit later and was good to go and almost in the right time zone.

It sounds like a fun time.
I think it was 🙂
Hi, where in the UK 🙂 if around London then let me know, subject to your schedule drinks on me 🙂
That is very kind of you. Right now everyone knows they want this celebration to happen but haven’t agreed on any dates or locations 😦
Ok 🙂 open offer from my side, whenever near London, give me a shout, if I am around then let’s meet 🙂
My one regret from London is that we never rode the double-decker buses (tour or otherwise). Love the clown photo…it is so unexpected to see him there.
It was so funny this. On the tour bus and I says “Hey look at that clown?” and DH thought I was calling somebody a clown instead of it being a real clown! LOL
‘What does that clown think he is doing?’
Clowning around? lol
You never know when some clown is going to pop up. Good that you had your camera at the ready. 🙂
There’s always some clown popping up somewhere 😉
I like the juxtaposition with the utility cabinets to the left of him.
One of those at the right place at the right time moments of photography as the bus was slowly rounding a corner 🙂
