This still tickles me when I see this photo. I’ve never seen a Maxx store here in the states with that kind of label description. Whether it’s TK or TJ Maxx as long as you get a good bargain who’s to quibble about one letter 😉

Good eye catching that signage. I would have just stared at the “TK” wondering what wasn’t quite right about it. 🙂

I had to research this oddity. According to Wikipedia, “T.J. Maxx” is the U.S. brand. When it opened in the U.K., it changed the name to “T.K. Maxx” to “avoid confusion” with “T.J. Hughes,” an existing chain. (By “avoid confusion,” I think that they mean “avoid litigation.”)
