Beautiful shot! I like the DOF effect in the picture..I have never seen this type of ibis before..
Thank you. I wish I had taken a shot of the identifying tags.
Such gorgeous colors!
Thanks 🙂
The colors of his feathers!!! I had to giggle… Do you think he is “wordless” with that long beak? Ha ha!! 😉
I think he might have a few words about the Feather Club for Birds looking at his head 😉
Wow this is super!!!
Thanks 🙂 Fun with program
This looks like it should be in Nat Geo!
Shucks! Thanks 🙂
Is it related to a Pelican?
It’s a distant relative.
Their beaks are very similar.
There are plenty of ibises here in the city, but they’re much plainer than these.
I don’t think we have any around here other than at the zoo 🙂
We’ve a small flock of ibis that have created a rookery near The Lake. They’re the plain, all white kind though. I don’t think I’ve ever seen one so colorful, Teri. Your shot really captured them all. Nicely done.
Why thank you kind sir 🙂
I’m very fond of this one.
I’m happy to hear that. Thank you.
