  2. Cindi says:

Ohhhh, your beautiful macro photography! 🙂 I was going to say “aquarium coral or sand?” but that’s not edible. Some type of granola?

  3. Felicia says:

I’m sitting here trying to figure out what the heck this is, lol. I feel like I’ve seen it somewhere before and it’s just not coming to me. I’ll think of it hours from now I’m sure. I love the picture either way!

  4. Ingrid says:

At first I thought it was red pepper flakes but now……I have no idea!

  5. The Dose of Reality says:

Well now that I see that Ingrid got it, I can only say I was WRONG! I was going to say trail mix or your morning cereal. GAH!! –Lisa

  6. Lignum Draco says:

What else have you put in the mix?

  7. Son of Sharecroppers says:

Lovely. Excellent composition. I especially like the little ear-shaped piece at the rule-of-thirds point at the lower left–although “Reservoir Dogs” does come to mind . . .

  8. Nancy says:

WAY TO GO INGRID!!! I would have never guessed! I loved this macro shot!

  9. Dalo 2013 says:

Nice shot, both these dried red pepper flakes, and yesterday’s shot. They spice up food, but I also think they are so photogenic.

  10. ChgoJohn says:

I never would have guessed pepper flakes, Teri. Nicely done.

  11. Looks like a crushed chili pepper to me. I know because I grow them…..and crush them sometimes. 🙂
