This fine fellow/lady here had a few words with me – metaphorically speaking – and said that since the word butterfly had first billing in the name of the building that housed all of them, I should feature at least one butterfly for this week even if wasn’t all about them πŸ™‚

No idea what kind this is but if you happen to know please leave the name in the comments.Β  Thank you πŸ™‚

Lovely portrait of the butterfly..I love the patterns on the leaves and foliage which provide a great backdrop for a beautiful insect. Excellent photo.

Thank you. I really liked the contrast of colors and lines between the butterfly and the plant it was on too.

It almost seems to take the same shape as the leaf but certainly stand out. – Great shot

I don’t know what kind of butterfly it is, but it’s gorgeous. I love the plant, too. The way the butterfly is there and the way the plant is shaped…it just looks so dynamic! –Lisa
