All along the covered walkway

They are doing a lot of construction in downtown Columbus, Ohio.  Which means you have a few of these covered walkways to prevent anything from falling down and bonking some innocent passerby on the head.  They always make me a little nervous because my imagination thinks of all things that could go wrong only when I’m under there.  But this time it was different.  The sun coming through the blue and red plastic (or whatever it is) along with the “skeleton” of the passage way converging to the other end caught my eye and I stopped to take a few photos.

As it turned out a couple walking their dogs had just exited the other end of the tunnel which enhanced the image for me.

These construction covers are so prevalent in NY – I used to hate walking under them just for the reason you stated, didn’t want to get hit in the head with something liquid – yuck!!!

I just walked through one of these yesterday on my way to a dentist appt. You’re right, it’s a little unnerving walking under them when you know why they’re there. 🙂

Love the perspective of the first photo and that you have two people at the far opening. Very nice.
