Well there you have two classic songs for you as part of this posts title. Feel free to sing either or both 🙂 The 21c hotel has a great (especially when the weather is nice, which it wasn’t when we were there – darn!) bar on the roof of their building. Even though it was too chilly to really stay up there and have a drink I had to go anyway just to experience it and to take some photos as the sun was beginning to set. I could’ve sworn I saw a hot tub up there too but maybe my eyes were playing tricks on me in the chilly wind.
The last photo of the building with the fire escape has a gentleman out there with a couple of cases of beer and he is grilling something. It was interesting to see that here was this building with people living in it right in the midst of all that is the hustle and bustle of downtown Cincinnati.

It’s the weekend…sing them both 🙂
It brought back a great memory from a college summer of seeing James Taylor in concert on the Boston Common. He sang Up on the Roof while a couple on the roof of an apartment building behind us danced.
I wonder if DH was in the area around that time? That is one cool memory.
Damn now I’m singing both and getting the words all mixed up…
