Every morning while we were in Scottsdale, Arizona I would get up early (had no choice really, my body was still on east coast time) and head out to the pool to relax until it was time to join the family for breakfast. And every morning there she came waddling out from somewhere on the hotel grounds! I guess she thought this was her private pool. I tried to tell her the chemicals in the water would probably turn her feathers green but did she listen to me? 😉

Her own private oasis!
Presumptuous of her! lol
You know, I don’t think I’ve ever seen a duck in a swimming pool…very cute. Yeah all those chemicals, yuck.
And here I was concerned about essence of duck being in the pool when I got in! LOL
I know…but better one duck than all those fish in the ocean. That’s it! Now you’ll never go in the water again. 😀
The nerve of her…as if there aren’t lakes and ponds that people can ‘t swim in!
Wild life encroaching…LOL
Reminds me of the pair of mallard ducks that visit our yard every spring, They eat the birdseed under the bird feeder & have become fairly tame. They don’t stay long, I guess they go somewhere else to nest. Enjoy your pictures & text very much, thanks
Thank you for commenting 🙂 I wondered what had happened to this ones mate as I only saw her.
