I saw this row of people sitting on this bench in Central Park and while they are all taking a break they also all seemed to be right next to each other but in their own separate worlds…unless they had gone to the same lunch spot which meant they were sharing the same time and relative dimension in space. (Ok, let’s see who gets that one!)
Hope you are able to get out and have lunch in some nice spot this weekend.Β A picnic sounds ideal π
A TARDIS in New York? Dr Who will be impressed π
YES!!! Someone got it! And Dr Who has been in New York before. Remember that episode?
Haven’t watched it for twenty years so no, but I trust you darling π
I like how you tilted the camera in this shot. When we visited London last year, found it interesting to observe the lunch time behavior of the office workers in London who often took their lunch to the parks.
I mostly saw the London after work crowd at the pubs π I tilted the shot to lead the eye along the line of folks from one corner to the other.
That is one thing that I miss about working in a city.
What? Going to a park for lunch?
Yes
When I worked in The Loop, I was one of “them”. I raced to Grant Park, stopping to buy something-in-a-bag for lunch, and grabbed a seat on a bench, hopefully a shaded one with a good view. IT didn’t take much to make me happy.
Hey, if you add in some Garrett’s Popcorn sounds blissful to me π
