No, that’s not really the name of this car but keep reading for the explanation. At the annual Cruize-in and Pig-out car show in Powell, Ohio, this beauty of a hot rod caught my attention and I just had to take a moment to speak with it’s proud owner. This is a kit car which took three years to build. The body is a 1928 Ford t-bucket but “I’ve always wanted a Corvette…” the owner put in a Corvette engine hence the nick name Cheford! Get it? Chevrolet + Ford = Cheford 😉
It can only come out on good days because not only does it not have a roof, it doesn’t have windshield wipers either. But on a warm and sunny day like this one it could happily cruise up to 110 mph – well someplace where that would be legal – in style. Wouldn’t that be awesome to do!
Super cool car! And love the name! :)-Ashley
The owner coined the name and we both had a good chuckle about it 🙂
Photos filled with skill and creativity from the car builder to the photographer! 😀
I knew there was more than one reason I liked you 😉 Thanks!
