Throwback Thursday with Big Blue

This charming fellow (gal?) sauntered up to me when I was visiting the Queen Elizabeth II Botanic park in Grand Cayman in 2012.  They are amazing and beautiful creatures and also critically endangered; only found on this island.  It’s like coming face to face with a dinosaur.  Makes you wonder what colors it’s prehistoric ancestors really were.  There were signs posted in the park that said ‘Please do not feed the iguanas.’  I had absolutely no problem obeying that rule 😉
