It has been a difficult week in the world. Wars, persecutions, dangerous flooding, celebrities that we have known and loved for all if not most of our lives have passed away suddenly, and there has been violence and riots. It frightens and saddens me to see in the news and on social media what has been going on in the world and in my own country.
So I wanted to post something that shows peace – this hybrid tea rose named Love and Peace. Perfect!
Isaiah 54:10 – Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace be removed, says the LORD, who has compassion on you.

This is such a beautiful rose. I once had one named simply Peace which was similar to this but seemed to have more subtle coloring. It was my very favorite rose ever. Your picture brought back that beautiful memory. Thank you. I saw this on The SITS Sharefest.
