How many times have you walked past something familiar and just kept walking; not taking a moment to notice anything about it? Can you imagine how many amazing things you might have missed by doing this? We had gone out to a local nursery to get some ideas for some fall landscaping when everyone who was in front of me walked past this one bush without giving it any notice even though it was very clear to see.
What they missed out on was this amazing beauty of nature – a spider web that had water drops on it from the recent light showers. I noticed, I stopped, I took a picture with my cell phone of this little bush dressed up in it’s finest spider diamonds.
Brilliant 🙂
Thank you 🙂
You are most welcome 🙂
“Stop and smell the roses” has such a nice ring to it.
“Stop and notice that creepy spider who might or might not be ready to jump out at you” doesn’t.
But both are important, otherwise you might miss eye treats such as this. Beautiful, Teri!
LOL!!! I honestly do not recall any instances of any spiders laying in wait to pounce upon me but they are not my fave creatures on the planet even if they do make stunning webs 🙂
Well spotted 😀
Thank you. It’s so funny…sometimes I can’t see the forest for the trees and other times I can see that one leaf that’s bent on one tree in the back 🙂
😀
Good spot… pity not in colour…
I will post the color version at a later date 🙂
Teri, I love your work but I’ll take a pass on this one, even if it’s another beauty. Spiders — even their webs — give me the heebie-jeebies.
I sorry 🙂 🙂
What AB said! 😀
Thank you 🙂
