Monochrome Monday – Spider Diamonds

How many times have you walked past something familiar and just kept walking; not taking a moment to notice anything about it?  Can you imagine how many amazing things you might have missed by doing this? We had gone out to a local nursery to get some ideas for some fall landscaping when everyone who was in front of me walked past this one bush without giving it any notice even though it was very clear to see.

What they missed out on was this amazing beauty of nature – a spider web that had water drops on it from the recent light showers.  I noticed, I stopped, I took a picture with my cell phone of this little bush dressed up in it’s finest spider diamonds.

    Brilliant 🙂

“Stop and smell the roses” has such a nice ring to it.

“Stop and notice that creepy spider who might or might not be ready to jump out at you” doesn’t.

But both are important, otherwise you might miss eye treats such as this. Beautiful, Teri!

    Well spotted 😀

Good spot… pity not in colour…

Teri, I love your work but I’ll take a pass on this one, even if it’s another beauty. Spiders — even their webs — give me the heebie-jeebies.
