Even if it were raining again
I would take the time to sit and take in the beauty that was in front of me
and the life all around me.
May I return and listen to you better
for there is much to learn sometimes in contemplative silence.

Great philosophy. Beautiful photo.
Thank you. I could use a moment there now.
Ohh..so beautiful! Never imagine a flower could be so nice in monochrome tones. Well capture!!
Thank you. Amazing how that happens sometimes when you convert to monochrome.
Beautiful, Teri!
Thank you, Ted.
It is amazing how pretty flowers can be even when they don’t have their vibrant colors.
Yep! Without the color you see other parts of their beauty.
Fantastic shot, Love the water on the lotus adding another dimension to the shot.
Thanks. It was between rain showers when I took this shot
Agree with Milford Street! I think monochrome images of flowers takes away all of the distractions and allows you to really appreciate the shape of a flower. Beautiful image Teri..
Hit the nail on the head there, Dino!
Gorgeous!!
Thank you π
I’ve just commented on someone else’s blog of how their photo of the water lily is just so much better in colour (as they showed the original….)… however this one I have to admit looks brilliant in B&W…
Thanks π I thought for sure I had posted it in color a long time ago but I cannot find it if I did. Maybe on a future post then.
Marvelous: delicate, simple beauty.
Thank you π
