Everything tastes like chicken

What is it about us when we say or are told “It tastes like chicken” to so many non-chicken things? I can emphatically say that not one thing we ate yesterday for Thanksgiving tasted like chicken!  This little feathered friend has been living in the Native Traditions shop in St. Charles, Missouri for several years now and he was still there a week ago in all of his (or is it her) squawking glory when we were visiting.  While the sign does say it will bite, I watched one customer stroking the top of its head without nary a nip.

The sign says “Yes! I bite! I love people…they taste like chicken.”  Do we now 😉
