Yellow is a happy bright color. It reminds me of the sun, of butter, of daffodils in spring, lemon meringue pies and those strange Peep candies. Yellow makes me smile and feel warm…something I am sorely missing right now; sunny and warm. This rose, photographed one early morning in July 2014 while the dew was still upon it, is a hybrid tea variety called Golden Fairy Tale.
