Monochrome Monday – Where was there?

The first MM of the new year and it’s about where we were for the end of last year.  As guessed in the previous post, we headed west to Nevada; Las Vegas mostly but we did head out into the desert as well.  While it was cold (which still surprises me considering in the warmer months it can get up to a toasty 115) it would warm up nicely by 10 or 11am.  Nice being relative that is…mid to upper 50’s but with abundant sunshine it made it wonderful.

Here is another shot from our hotel room window; I had a great time at this and even once asked a housekeeper to let me into a room she was cleaning to see if I liked the view from the other side of the hall (our side had the better view – yay!)

Thank you 🙂 It never ceases to amaze me how some photos turn out depending on color or b&w.

Love your photos in black and white. I need to do that more! Glad you had a fabulous time. Yes, it has been a bit chilly out here in the Arizona Desert but it is warming up this week!

Thanks 🙂 I’m sure even at it’s coldest it’s tons warmer than here now with our balmy 10 degrees.
