First Example from the LR Class

Yesterday’s develop module Lightroom class opened up more ways to edit my photos…this was good!  Then again it means that I am tempted (no, I probably will) to go back and re-edit some images I thought were done and in the can.  But that is part and parcel of what being a photographer is, isn’t it?  Sometimes we all develop a certain style of shooting and editing and we stay with it but I like learning and exploring.  Some things I will stick with, others will be cast aside as they don’t fit my style and then there will be new ways added to the catalog.

In the meantime I’m having fun with the new things I’ve learned with this being one of the first images I used the new techniques on and I’m still not finished tweaking it 🙂  Lightroom is an amazing program!  This is another image from Valley of Fire State Park in Nevada.  This was taken at Rainbow Vista; just one of the many amazing and colorful areas in the park.  I don’t recall if this area had a hiking trail or not because if it did we missed it entirely so we had to carefully wander through the area on our own.

Have you thought about teaching online classes and being compensated for it?
