Monochrome Monday – Leaves

After converting the color image of this photo of autumn leaves into black and white the outcome reminded me of tarnished silver or slightly burnt caramelized sugar.   I can just see this as a framed image.  What do you think?  Do you see anything other than leaves?

On a side note:  Today is the little guys 11th birthday!  I cannot get over how he has grown.  I told him he is going to start shaving soon and will have to get a job and pay taxes.  He liked the idea of shaving but wailed about the job and taxes…hehehe.  Grandchildren are so much fun, you get to play with them, spoil them, put weird ideas into their heads and then give them back to their parents.  PAYBACK 😉

Happy Birthday to Mr. 11! Oh and I also see Pac Man! I would love this one framed but all your pictures would be great framed!

  3. A smiling beluga whale at the edge of the bottom right quadrant.

You are a cruel grandmother. Or a very twisted one, I’m not sure which. Maybe they are one and the same. But there s no way you are going to coax me into revealing what I see in your photograph. Rorschach, indeed!

  5. The texture in this shot looks great. We get the same benefit from our nieces and nephew. Work…taxes…shaving…perhaps Peter Pan had the right idea. Cheers.

  6. Nandini says:

Wow! I love how it looks in Black&White. 🙂
