This is the view of the Rock House taken after coming down 53 stairs (shown in yesterdays post) and from the end of a bridge that goes over a stream before heading up a hill to hike behind and on top of the Rock House. The climb up the hill through the forest was a bit steep…and strenuous! I had to stop a few times to catch my breath. I can walk flat surfaces for several miles easily but hike up hills? Need training.
Announcement: I entered a street photography contest held by Midwest Photo Exchange. While they are still judging entries for the big prizes they also had a contest for local photographers. If you tagged your entry with #CBUS (Columbus, Ohio) then you were entered to have your work printed out and displayed at a gallery show held by them. There will be 30 photos displayed by local photographers next Friday with food and beverages, etc. and guess who was chosen to be one of the 30? I am thrilled!!! I am not showing what my entry was just yet because they are still judging and I am busy going about knocking on wood and looking for four leaf clovers.
