Lincoln Road in South Beach is the place to go for street photography and people watching. Often it can get very crowded making it difficult to get that shot of someone who catches your eye. Sometimes when doing street photography I will interact with someone – smiling politely – to get a photo. Because it was so busy and so many things going on around me I chose to shoot without contact or to go stealth mode and shoot from the hip. It was hot and very sunny there and I saw several people walking around under their umbrellas. They were in stark contrast to the ones who were walking about in not very much!
Do you have any suggestions or tips on how you accomplish your street shots? Please share in the comments; I’d love to learn from you. Thanks 🙂
Here comes the sun! Love the series!
And I say…it’s alright 🙂 Have a few more days in the series.
No secrets….I do approach people more often now, unless I think that will ruin the moment. Nice umbrella shots….Cheers =)
Thanks you and I need to work at approaching people more. DH says all I need to do is smile and say I’m a photog with a blog LOL
Being part of a class and saying that was helpful.
I will just sit back and learn from you! I have enjoyed the whole street photography that you have shared.
Thank you 🙂
