The plus two being two color versions of the monchrome image. When I first posted this photo here there was just something about the contrast of the graffiti and the bricks that caught my eye that made me want to experiment with processing it different ways. The first color image was as I originally edited it but with the second I increased the contrast and vibrancy of the colors along with turning up the definition to make the bricks as well as the graffiti stand out.
I like them all for their own reasons but I suppose I like the “pop” of the contrasty color one the most. Which one do your prefer and why?
On a side note…my computer is under the care of Dr. DH and I cannot get into it. Or as I’ve been told “Don’t touch any buttons!” Posts after this one, which was already scheduled, may be reruns until things are fixed. I cannot edit on my laptop so it’s the waiting game…
Sorry to hear about the computers.
Thank you. I hope it can be fixed and not have to get a new one.
Cool shot….They are all good, but I’ll go with number 3. I wish your computer a speedy recovery. =)
Thanks! The pacing outside of the patients door and the withdrawal pains are awful!!! 🙂
I know all about the wirhdrawal pains…Was there really a time when we lacked all this technology? How did we ever survive?
How did we ever manage? Sitting with laptop now in a corner clutching my security blanket…LOL
Take deep breaths…..
Need paper bag to breathe into… 🙂
Well door #1 is my favorite. I always pick color over monochrome but for some reason this just catches my eye.
Hope the computer woes are taken care of quickly!
Thanks! I was working at trying to make the bricks “emerge” from the graffiti. I need my computer back STAT!!!!
I like the contrasty color one as well – perhaps because of the angle this was shot at – if it had been straight on, the greyscale one may have been a fave…just guessing here.
I thought that too but when I was taking these shots I liked the angle view better hence WYSIWYG
I’m a big fan of B&W but here I like the strong colors of Number 3. Hope your computer can be fixed easily! Earlier this year I had to get a new one and the down time was painful.:)
I fear having to replace it cause that will really tax my resolve. It’s taxed enough as it is!!!!
They are all beautiful, but my favorite is #3…the colors are amazing!
Thanks. I enjoyed making that version.
