Composition in red – Truck, rust and barn

I was going to take the day off from blogging and enjoy the day but our adventures from yesterday (we went exploring in parts of the state we had never been in before; I have never seen so many corn and soybean fields in my life) yielded this one image I really wanted to share with you.Β  Now that I have done that it’s back to our regularly scheduled Sunday πŸ™‚

Those old corn and soybean fields back home! Corny huh? Love this photo. I have an old green Ford pickup similar to that Lil’ Red Truck, but not rusted like that one.

Looks like a beautiful, sunny day there yesterday. We had the same here and also took a day trip. Went 150 miles in just under 7 hours! A record for us. The trip back home took less about 2. Traffic, you ask? Nope. Stops for photos. (And a few bathroom breaks!) This image of yours is a beauty! Love the light in the foreground and the truck protected by the shade!

  3. Cool truck…We have corn fields but they are nothing like what you guys have…Cheers =)
