Love the photo. When was the last time you were at a drive-in? I think we don’t have any drive-ins left around here. Did you ever hear “Pedro And Man At The Drive-Inn” by Cheech & Chong?

Last time was when I was a child and I will have to look that Cheech & Chong routine up.

Some owners really go all out with accessories for their cars at these shows.

Fantastic photo! Memories of my Dad backing into the spot at the Drive-In Movie Theater, so we could open the back of the station wagon to watch the double-features! I can still recall covering my head with the pillow when the Indians attacked the Locals in the Swiss Family Robinson film, or singing along with Bert in Mary Poppins!

Thanks and cute memories…I remember once going with my Dad to the concession stand and then we forgot where we put Mom and the car coming back and had to wander around for a bit.

Tell you a secret…it was a comedy and when we heard mom laughing we knew what direction to go 😉

      • #17 by mickey2travel on August 13, 2015 - 8:58 am

The laughter sure beats hitting that button on your keyring waiting for your car to “beep”! Of course, we didn’t have those devices back then….

Oh my, is that really from the drive in? 😀 😀

Well this was at the car show but these are how you got the sound of the movie into your car at the drive-ins back in the day 🙂
