The artists creating their art

There were some amazing works of art being created and I admired the fact that they could do it all with so many people walking around them, the music from the DJ’s, the wrestlers cutting up and so many voices talking.  Then again, I know that when I am editing photos I put on headphones and listen to music so focus is as focus does.  So many mediums were used too!  All sorts of paints, pencils, and loads of spray cans.  The fumes were a bit much depending on who was painting what where but the talent just blew me away!  Many of them were using smaller drawings of what they were putting on the murals as their templates as you can see in the image of the woman in the red tennis shoes.

And you know I was thrilled seeing the one woman drawing turtles 🙂

Awesome collection of shots. Such creativity. Were people talking to them or letting them do their work? Cheers =)

People only spoke to them if they knew them, were helping out or when they took a break. I was very respectful of their space…to a point 🙂

That is good…The painter i took a photo of in Lowell was talking more than painting but that may have been more on him. Cheers!

Wonderful collection. Artist5701’s face, and the colors of Artist5691, really grabbed me.

Thanks. There was one that I took a shot of that was just black and white but later as we were leaving I saw that it was turning into something amazing.

It’s like a community paint in. I love see all those artists creating fun and beautiful paintings.

It was like a slice out of the 60’s. All the colors, music, joy, and art. These artists had to apply and be approved for this.

You just don’t want any ol’ low life artist out there on the street. “Flowers And Beads” are one thing, but having groovy artists is a must!
