Yesterday after the rain stopped we went for a walk in one of my favorite local parks. Everything that wasn’t muddy or muddy colored was so green and beautiful. To have a moment to hike through the woods, listen to the canopy of leaves rustling as the gentle wind blew, to wonder if the crashing sounds of acorns were from some busy squirrels or just dropping to begin life anew…it was wonderful. Everyone out kept their voices low as they traversed the paths except for this one guy who seemed to have forgotten that this was nature and not his office as he was having a rather loud conversation on his phone.
The idea here is to unplug and enjoy nature not to pollute it with your noise; take your conversation inside!
Beautiful place! Yeah… I’d be reminding that dude to take is “voice” elsewhere. Even I (of all people) would be quiet in a place like this! Thank you for sharing!
The park is amazing and huge! And that dude got an eye roll from me as we passed on the path.
This is lovely, Teri. What a wonderful location. Sorry it was disturbed by a loud phone talker. Some people just don’t get it. Cheers!
Thanks. Here is a prior post with the same bridge in autumn. He was not communing with nature one bit. https://imagesbytdashfield.wordpress.com/2013/11/12/while-strolling-through-the-park-one-day/
Wow…It’s lovely!
Love that bridge!
Me too 🙂
The elusive silence…
Unless we’re talking about The Silence from Doctor Who then that’s really elusive…but it can be found in this park barring any who don’t follow etiquette.
Didn’t I just see someone standing there?…Must have been mistaken…
Check the marks on your arm…
Ah, yes…
