Housed in a renovated historic factory in East Franklington, Ohio is this in-house brew spot. Beers, a patio to enjoy them on and bar eats. What’s not to like? I’ve never been in here (it is on my try it out list) but this post isn’t about the business, it’s about their sign. Originally this was just a nice wood slats sign with the company name, plain and simple, but then vandals struck! They paint balled the sign pretty good for whatever reason – I mean sure it’s in the arts districts here but what was the purpose of this act? Vandals or errant artists we may never know but the company decided they liked the look and didn’t attempt to clean it up.
Actually, I think it looks cooler this way.
I agree…it has a better “try me” look to it…
Try me as in go in or try me as in paint? 🙂
Paintball enhanced = I would try their beer…the base logo, not so much so.
Gotcha!
I like it! Let us know how the beer is!
Will do. I’ve been crushing on Cider Shandy’s lately. Half hard cider, half beer. Yum!
Sounds great!
It is! It is!
Love it!
It is kind of cool isn’t it?
I wouldn’t clean it up either. It looks great. Nice shot! Cheers!
Thanks. It even made the local paper when it got splattered 🙂
Definitely looks better this way . . . the sign would cause me to try out the store and I don’t even like beer!
Let me introduce you to hard cider then 😉
Whatever the reason, it makes for a better photo…with the paint. And you’ve done a lovely job of composition!
Thank you 🙂
!!!
Love the new look!
