Sorta kinda partially back…

For monochrome Monday.  The move is complete and the unpacking continues.  Actually it’s more like frustration over what box has the thing we are hunting for and wanting to just throw in the towel…if we could find said towel.  Mentioning towels, we have plenty of linen closet space but a smaller pantry.  I’m tempted to put some things that used to go in the old pantry into the huge linen closet.

I love the new house but there is a learning curve to some bits of it.  The appliances are so futuristic with their buttons and little tweets to signal what they are doing.  Plus everything needs a special cleaning product to keep it all nice and shiny.  When did appliances become so complicated?

We’ve had issues with some of the companies that were part of this journey from the old homestead to the new one;  I’ve had to “speak” with customer service a few times.  We were not amused!  But last night while I decorated the tree, DH put everything together in my office except for one printer.  Hurray!

I could use a drink 😉

Glad everything went well and you are back up and running! Enjoy your drink!

  2. You will be into the new house groove before you know it…one thing I tell people to never pack in boxes (to be found later) is the bottle opener/corkscrew…

  3. Congrats! You will eventually get used to the futuristic applicanes :-). I am sure they will make like easier eventually…

  4. Good to know you’re alive and pretty much connected. I hope you find the box of towels soon and can throw it in. Cheers!

  5. Congrats on the move and stiff upper lip, I always wanted to say that, with that learning curve.

Hang in there, Teri. You’ll get there. If you’re anything like me, my last move was my LAST move.
