And all through the new house
we creatures were stirring trying to get things sorted out.
The stocking were hung on the windowsill with care
because we opted to get hardwood floors instead of a fireplace – so there!
We decided to take a break and see if Star Wars tickets we could find
waited too long; the seats left would make us go blind.
My fave eggnog was no longer available at the store
so I guess it’s going to be mulled wine then off to bed to snore.
When we awaken we will Skype with the kids; what a joy
because the big box we sent them has been driving them mad which – was my ploy.
Then dinner of an English kind will be prepared with Yorkshire puddings and roast beast
and we will give thanks for Christmas in our new home
with a delicious feast.
(But I’m making Key Lime pie for desert!)
Merry Christmas Everyone,
Teri & DH

Teri, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! I am with you on the hardwood floors for sure! Houses can be heated with gas or electricity and wooden floors are way less cold than concrete or tiles 🙂 Congrats on the new home. Christmas in a new home is an extra special treat. Blessings aplenty!
Thank you so much but I’m still craving some of that jerk turkey of yours 😉
