That’s not the shape of my heart…

But it is the shape of an anthurium plant; commonly known as tail flower, flamingo flower and lace leaf.  It’s a very pretty plant but it is also poisonous with sap that is irritating to the eyes and skin.    Besides the rotating exhibits,  the conservatory has permanent exhibits like this plant in the tropical wing.  They do a great job of making sure each and every plant (and living creature) has what it needs to thrive.

Trivia Question:  Can anyone tell me the name of the song and the singer that the post title comes from?
