It’s St. Patrick’s Day

I don’t have any shamrocks, blarney stones, shillelaghs, or banshee photos just this image of a philodendron to represent the showing of the green.  No Guinness or Smithwick’s but I may run to the pub or grocery store for a good Magners Irish cider.  I haven’t cooked any corned beef and cabbage but maybe they will be serving it at the pub with the cider – twofer!  And I refuse to drink any green beer and don’t come near me with green eggs and ham either.  Sorry Dr. Seuss, ain’t happening.

So while wearing my green and blue plaid shirt I say this to you:

May God give you…
For every storm, a rainbow,
For every tear, a smile,
For every care, a promise,
And a blessing in each trial.
For every problem life sends,
A faithful friend to share,
For every sigh, a sweet song,
And an answer for each prayer.

Have a happy and safe St. Paddy’s Day – Sláinte
